Projector Image Quality, Image Brightness, Thoroughness of Inspections, Proper Product Representation There are many factors that may affect image quality, brightness and overall value of a projector, most of which goes unnoticed by the untrained eye. 1. Dust Optic Burns – Image Quality Optic burns may discolor the image or create discolored spots. These spots can be caused by the long hours of use, inappropriate temperature or dust. Dust accumulation is present in most used projectors. It tends to create darker projection image and can leave spots on the projection by getting attached to the optic inside. It may be nearly impossible to remove the dust from the optic without completely disassembling the projector first. The colors, contrast definition knock cannot be beat by anything but a better Epson projector. I am a total cinephile and have used multiple projectors of many different brands. This is miles better than any budget projector labeled “HD” or “4K”. The color is achieved by three CCDs look so much more organic than any alternative projector technology. The only reason I’m selling this is because we moved into a new house that doesn’t facilitate a projector. This one was very very lightly used. Lamp hours are in 1509. Looks practically new. Whilst I endeavor to put tubes together from the same year and look the same, this is not always the case. I may have the same tube but from differing years matched up in test results, which means they may cosmetically or internally look a little different... I use a TV7/U military spec Tester which is calibrated . I have 4 of these machines and all display a slightly differing value if I test the same tube, as two testers are never the same.
