This item is technically working; though I’m listing it as “ for parts or repair” because it should be repaired to be back to its former glory. The rosewood cabinet is in beautiful condition. There are fine scratches that could buff out. There are no major blemishes on the cabinet. It is missing both the front and rear grills. The unit works, but there has always been a slight hum at low volumes ever since I’ve owned it. It has sat for a long time not used in my sun/theater room. Unfortunately in direct sunlight. Just recently I noticed the surround on the active woofer has split ( likely from the direct sunlight). The caps to me look like they have never been serviced but I’m not 100% sure. Carver M-500t 2 channel Magnetic Field Power Amplifier Amp with Owners Manual. This amplifier belonged to my dad. I am no expert on audio equipment and dont know enough to provide the details that Ebay suggested I fill in. Please ask questions and I will do my best to get you accurate answers or provide additional pictures if that would help. I do know, for sure, that this unit works. Edited to add: I will do another picture of the front. There are no big scratches over the CARVER name on the front as it appears in this picture. Those are a fingerprint smear by yours truly. There are a few small nicks in the plastic over the right channel meter.

Excellent cosmetic condition and clean inside out. Unit was at repair shop, but repairs were unfinished. Shop lost the bottom cover. Missing bottom cover as shown. Unit cannot be plugged in. Parts only.

Had This amp Hooked to my system, top end. and it sounds very good, might be a little dusty inside. the only thing i see is two tiny marks on the upper front side, took a picture. Pretty clean.
