California Audio Labs Icon MKII CD Player. I have owned it since new in the early 90s. Unit is functional but skips occasionally. This is either fixable or not, depending on your expertise. It is cosmetically good and comes with original box, manual, and remote! Can be refurbished or used for parts. The original packaging and remote are also useful for increasing the value of refurbished units.

If you are looking, you probably know what this is. it is named the Icon but who knew it would be so Iconic. Im not gong to go on with a big description. I already sold this on eBay and It was returned to me. the buyer said it was weak in the left channel. I have tried to find weakness in the left channel but I cannot. My associated equipment is a $3000 Lin Amp which went into a luminous audio preamp with the walker upgrade and every upgrade imaginable. I am telling you this so that you will be informed. the guy got through many other bidders to get this so I do believe he was being honest I just cant find any weakness in any channel. however, you should buy this as if there is weakness in a channel, when I sell this I do not want it back. If there is a weakness in a channel it is almost certainly an output capacitor. I am Starting the bidding low and if it sells for that then so be it. I also just sold my Fathers Flagship Yamaha receiver for him. it weighed a million pounds and was well over $2000 new. the buyer received it and then wanted to return it.
