Might be somewhat on the bright side, definitely brings out the textures in the sound. It is powerful enough to drive all types of cans and has a low/high gain switch to better match whatever efficiency your headphones have. Flaws: It has a lot of scratches on the chassis from not handling it all that carefully... The sound may crackle a bit when turning the volume knob, the wipers in the potentiometer may be dirty with resistive elements coming from the pot itself. I turned the knob back and forth several times and this got rid of the issue for now. Other than that it works perfectly. Includes power cable, but no RCA cables. The MSRP for this amp was $600 when it released years ago if I remember correctly so this is a real bargain, with flaws and all. Its still a high quality, fully discrete, full Class-A amp. A great find for the wise, budget conscious audiophile.

Hallo zusammen,ich selbst habe diesen im Januar aus Rumänien gebraucht erworben. Als ich ihn bekam, hatte eine Seite leiter etwas gerauscht und ich habe den Kontakt zu Burson aufgenommen und ein komplett neues Motherboard und Frontpanel (neueste Version) erhalten. Daher ist technisch gesehen das Gerät mehr oder weniger absolut up to date und neu. Aktuell sind 2 Dual Classic OPAmps und 2 Dual Vivid OPAmps verbaut. Als Zubehör lege ich noch 4 weitere Dual Vivid OPAmps (wobei einer defekt ist) dazu. Hier und da sind minimale Gebrauchsspuren zu erkennen, die ich versucht habe, auf den Fotos einzufangen.Desweiteren gibt es noch den 3A SuperCharger von Burson dazu. Jegliches weitere Zubehör sowie die OVP sind vorhanden.Ein bis 2.500€ versicherter Versand ist im Preis mit inbegriffen.
