Extremely rare Bose 901’s as these were the very last 901’s Bose produced before discontinuing this legendary product in 2016 after almost 50 years. Some feel they should have been Series 7 because of the dramatic changes to the 4.5 inch drivers, which had not changed much since the series 3’s in 1975, but Bose decided to call them “Version 2”. The sale includes two 901 S6-v2 Speakers, 901 Equalizer, Tulip Stands, a Reprint of the Owners Manual, and I’ll even include some Custom made 16 AWG Speaker Cable (up to 20-Ft) terminated with the connectors of your choice? No other equipment shown in photos included. These are in exemplary condition cosmetically… you’d be hard-pressed to find any scratches or blemishes, but they are used so an up close inspection may reveal some small blemish I missed…See photos for condition. Functionally they perform as new, and if you are local, I’d be glad to give you a demo at pick up. I’m a lifelong Bose employee, having worked for the company both full-time, and as a consultant for over 46 years, many of those years in Engineering. These days I run a small business, restoring, Vintage Audio equipment, focusing on Bose products. I did perform some restoration work to these, first the cabinets needed to be re-wrapped as the veneer had lifted in a few places. I used the same original Black Ash vinyl veneer, and made other improvements; added threaded inserts to attach the tulip stands, replaced the rubber feet on the tulip stands, and other small upgrades. Vtg Bose 901 Series VI Speakers With Tulip Stands and Equalizer - Great Sound! They will be shipped in 2 different packages for protection. Everything is working as should. Cabinets have a few marks, but otherwise good physical condition.

Bose 901 Series V Direct/Reflecting Loudspeakers in walnut veneer. Complete, built in 1985, with a Series V-appropriate equalizer and original tulip stands. These are the 15” large base stands. Everything has been reconditioned. All drivers have been tested and are working normally; stands have been polished and waxed. Speaker cabinets have been carefully reconditioned with two coats of tung oil and three coats of Feed-N-Wax. Many hours went into refurbishment. They look amazing and they sound great. If you’re looking for that warm and open authentic Bose 901 sound, these are it! The price is reflective of the workmanship and effort that went into this refurbishment. Local pick-up only, unable to ship. High quality cables and interconnects can be made available for purchase should you require, at an additional cost of course. I am also including a copy of the original owner’s manual, service manual, and the original Dr. Bose “White Paper”, explaining the concept of these speakers. As with anything of this age, you’re going to have dings and scratches, but I’ve done my best to repair any imperfection. Please see photos that call out any remaining imperfections.
