The soundDock has stunning quality sound as you would expect from Bose. Comes with the original charger lead UK plug & very long lead which has a slot around the plug to wrap the lead around to keep it tidy. 30pin iPod docking station for charging & playing iPod which works perfectly. Also included is a apple lightning cable which fits into the headphone jack socket at the back of the speaker, which allows playback from your newer iPod, iPhone & iPad music, though, this will not charge them at the same time, only the dock does both. However there are 30 pin to lightning connectors & Bluetooth connectors available to buy, which slot into the dock & increase your options. The sound dock has a lithium battery which despite not using for many years works perfectly, charges up &when plugged in the dock charges things up as well, the battery life hasn’t been tested. exceptional sound emitted when playing your music from docking station or auxiliary output. Some cosmetic superficial scratches, mainly on the back under close scrutiny, this doesn’t effect the sound quality & is to be expected on a item of this age.
