This is a pair of Bose 601 Series III Main / Stereo Speakers The woofers have been replaced with quality woofers from a company called Misco, who have made speakers in Minneapolis since 1949. I pulled one of the woofers and the model number is KC8W-6A and it is dated 11/24/21. They do not sell this model anymore, but a similar model sells for $75 per woofer. After doing some research, it appears that these may be better quality than the original Bose woofers. They sound awesome. The speakers have been tested and sound great. When listening to music, the speakers disappear and you are enveloped in sound that is warm, crisp and deep. If you are looking at these, then you are probably already familiar with them. However, they are very few, all things considered. They have always sat in my living room, until about a year ago. I own instruments, so they have always lived in a humidity controlled environment. I do not have the boxes. They sound fantastic, enormous. Everything is in perfect working order, all tweeters and woofers, no punched in caps, etc. Everything is original including the grille material. Bose 601 Series II Direct Reflecting Speakers - Pair These are in nice used condition. Some minor dings to the veneer but nothing major. Some fading to the grills, but no cracking or tears. Functionally, they sound excellent. The original woofers have been reformed (done so before I acquired them and not the cleanest job on the upper woofers but sound great). The tweeters are original and in very nice condition, except for a very small dent in one of the cones of a right forward facing tweeter. Please see the pictures and video. I purchased these from an estate sale last year and have used them somewhat regularly since, but time for them to go as they are too much speaker for my needs nowadays. I will ship these to the continental USA only. I have safely shipped 601 Series IIs before and will make sure they are packaged/padded very well so they arrive to you exactly as you see them here. Here is a listing for an excellent pair of Bose, 601 series 3 stereo speakers. These speakers are in excellent working condition! Fully tested and fully functional. The walnut veneer cabinets are in great condition for their age, showing only a few light scratches and edge nicks. The speaker grills have been re-dyed because of sun fading and show a few small irregularities and one small patch as shown in the photos. None of these issues are seen from more than five or 6 feet away. Truly a very nice pair that I would rate an 8 out of 10 cosmetically. And perfect functionally. No shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or PO boxes.
