If loose, the glass and the frame are removed and the foam (now a very sticky mulch) is removed from both with a special solvent (a one hour job at least) and new tape is applied. The sensor nodes are cleaned and checked for a good contact. Then the frame and glass are put back. Each of the touch buttons is checked again. All speaker outputs are tested, including the Powerlink for uniform sound balance. Beautifully designed vintage Bang Olufsen B&O Beosystem BeoMaster 3500 Tuner/ Amplifier, sold as spares and repairs. The unit it is in decent cosmetic condition, with no cracks to the glass panel and only a few minor marks on the chrome panel. As the pictures illustrate, there are a couple of cracks to the front bezel. Unfortunately, I cannot properly test this unit as I have no other fully working B&O gear to see if it will pass a signal. It does however turn on and respond to a Beolink 1000 remote (sold separately). I believe the problems with my Beocord and Beogram gear to be age related degradation to their to internal moving parts - namely their motors/belts - however, as this product doesn’t have such components, I believe it is more possible that it could work, but since I cannot guarantee that I am selling it as spares and repairs. Will pack well for postage.
