I know next to nothing about record players I know enough to know that Bang & Olufsen makes very nice stereo equipment.The player Powers On, Spins, The arm moves over to the album and drops down then sometimes it will move along the record and others it will not both channels work but they sound that comes out is not great. On the little research I did I think it has to do with the tracking or the needle on the cassette. I looked and the needle looks sharp but once again I am not an expert. This could be a very simple fix for all I know but I am selling it for parts due to not being able to make it work properly in the time I had to spend on it.If it is a simple fix I hope you either use it or sell it and get enjoyment from it one way or the other. It is in great physical condition the only flaw being the circle that is melted in the dust cover (See Picture). IT IS BEING SOLD AS-IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR I WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON THIS ITEM.

Bang & Olufsen Beogram RX2 Type 5833 Turntable record player. Doesn't power on. 120v 60 hz 10watts This turntable would be a great restoration project because both the cabinet and plexiglass cover are in excellent shape. There are no chips, dings, stains or big scratches. Just some superficial swirling on the plexi which is hardly noticeable. Yes there are less expensive ones but we think this is cosmetically one of the best used ones. We do not have the OG box but will bubble pack it and isolate the tonearm so it doesn't move. Just the turntable for sale and no cartridge.

Up for grabs is this very nice, lightly used Bang & Olufsen turntable. It displays extremely nice having a freshly polished clear dust cover lens. It looks remarkably nice in person. All functions such as the auto start and stop work perfectly every time and the platter maintains a good constant speed. Installed/included is a MMC5 cartridge which sounds very nice. I included a video demo of the auto start/stop. Still has the original manual brochure! Please see all pictures and ask any questions! This will be packed VERY well having the platter wrapped separately inside the box with the turntable and having everything bubble wrapped and surrounded by packing peanuts. Tested and works great! Has the more desirable mmc-5 cartridge. There are no major blemishes on the unit, some light scratches to be expected as this is a vintage unit. The cover/lid is free of chips, cracks, broken hinges etc. A really nice unit overall.
