This is a vintage Bang & Olufsen Beocord 2400 Tape Deck in the rosewood finish. Jacob Jensen designed this in 1969, winning awards for industrial design at the Hannover Fair as a result. As B&O separates go, these little buggers (they’re 40cm across) are borderline bombproof. The ‘piano key’ buttons are a joy, the tape deliver mechanism just feels… right (and sounds it too). Tape counter works perfectly still and the channel monitors light up and dance as they should. There’s a clever slide cover hiding the balance control and mic input. This is, quietly, a serious bit of kit. Fully tasted, working great, this comes with all connectors (and its original two-pin plug). Any questions, please ask.

Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 2400 in need of some TLC. Came from a recent estate sale, does not power up, looking at the underside it seems the power transformer is missing. We have not investigated further, selling for spares / repairs. There are some cosmetic issues with the Teak end caps and there is one scratch on the top, overall not too bad for the vintage.
