B&W Matrix 3 Speakers I bought these from the original owner about 10 years ago, and have been using them ever since. I am completely out of space and need to make room for some new toys that I bought. These B&Ws are in excellent working and cosmetic condition. Note that there is a sliver of veneer missing on the back of one of the speakers (see last 2 photos). Other than that, there are no significant flaws. Ive listed these as Local Pickup Only, but for the right buyer, I will consider shipping them within the continental USA only.If you are interested in having these shipped, please contact me. Amazing set of 805 Matrix speakers with original box and packing materials, factory testing sheets, grilles (including cardboard shipping protectors), and intact tweeter housings (usually these are snapped off in most 805s that come up for sale). Speakers work perfectly and include original bi-wire links. One small nick on the left side of one speaker (pictured), otherwise immaculate considering their age. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better example of these speakers!

The listing is for a pair of matching grilles. Part number is ZZ07951 which is used in Matrix 2 and Matrix 2 S2 speakers. They are in a good cosmetic condition with no cracks or holes. B&W HTM center channel speaker in great condition with upgraded crossover and custom bi-wire jumper. Original box. Im the original owner. Im selling because this speaker was just swapped out of my HT system for a 3-way HTM3. The HTM works great, but I wanted a bit more bass. The tweeter on my new HTM3 speaker does not sound as live as this Matrix HTM with the upgraded caps, so I need to get the HTM3 caps changed as well Only one minor defect in the HTM, tiny chip in the finish - see photo. The crossover capacitors for the tweeter were professionally replaced by Empirical Audio with Audience Auricap XO series, which are the highest rated caps that will actually fit in there and not compromise the inner box volume. These Auricaps were found to be equivalent in performance to Mundorf MCap Supreme Silver Gold Classic 1200VDC, which is too large to fit and a LOT more expensive. They are the best caps you can get that will fit in there. I show photos of the old caps and the two new caps. The original caps will be in the box. These made a big difference in the clarity and dispersion of the tweeter. Highly recommended tweak. I also include custom Bi-Wire jumpers using twisted pairs of silver-plated copper solid-core wire, Teflon insulated. These also make a huge difference. Stock jumpers were junk, sounded terrible. I also include some Jumpers that came with some Dynaudio speakers. The caps will cost you $100 for parts if you purchase them for another speaker, not including installation. This is the best sounding Matrix HTM you will find on Ebay.

Excellent condition, near perfect screens and wood boxes. From 1993 or thereabout, and rarely used. Chicago Tribune Review: Is this heaven? No its my listening room. Why do you ask? I heard this heavenly sound that drew me here. You heard the B&W Matrix 805. It stands out in a crowded field of speakers. The Matrix 805 only looks small. The big sound satisfies demanding listeners while the little cabinet fits nearly any home. Its the smallest and least expensive of the B&Ws 800 series of studio monitors. The fist-size outboard tweeter module carries the family resemblance. B&W offers the 805 in a vertical or horizontal configuration for maximum placement flexibility. You cant simply turn the vertical model on its side for horizontal use.Buyer pays packing and shipping separately or pick up from Orlando FL.

B&W 805 Matrix speakers in fair condition. I bought these new when they came out and they have not been modified. Tweeter housings have damage (see photo), but drivers are undamaged. Cabinets have minor blemishes, but no major scrapes or gouges. I used them until three years ago, when I moved to a new house- I cant find a good place for them.
