I am selling both an SP9 Preamp and the D-115 Stereo Power Amp, but this auction is ONLY for the SP9 Preamp. It has been single owner since being purchased new decades ago, in a smoke-free home and well cared for. It has not seen much use or any maintenance in a while, but I powered it on and enjoyed it one last time before listing to ensure it works well as-is, and to me it sounds the same as it always has. It will come with as much of the original documentation/manuals as I can find - I think I have the original purchase order, too, if interested. I will not ship this, so local pickup only. Offering an exceptionally clean and well preserved LS1. It looks almost brand new, with only 1 small nick on the bottom faceplate edge but otherwise in pristine condition. Uses a single 6DJ8 tube. Works flawless, outstanding AR build quality. Includes direct input; a source input that bypasses all circuitry except volume which offers a more pure sound. I have owned it for about 5 years but only used it for about 6 months while I was waiting for another preamp to be serviced, has been in storage since. I have for sale some rare Audio Research gold plated knobs. The knobs are from the estate of an Audio Research employee. These are (new old stock) knobs that were in storage for a number of years and have never been installed in equipment before. The overall condition of the knobs is excellent. The knobs are a manufactures sample for the SP-11 limited edition gold series preamp that was only sold overseas. The knobs will fit any Audio Research preamplifier that starts with an SP. Such as the SP-4, SP-5, SP-7, SP-6, SP-8, SP-9, SP-10, SP-11, SP-12 SP-14, SP-15. Some older Audio Research amplifiers also used this traditional styled knob, so they will work on those amplifiers too. Note: The knobs will not fit the Audio Research LS series of line stage preamplifiers. My ad is for 4 knobs as pictured...if you need more than 4 knobs, please email me. One thing worth mentioning...the knobs have a shiny gold surface, so its very hard to get a good picture of one knob or a group of knobs. The pictures have dark lines/shadows and distortions in them which are not present in the knobs.
