I have owned this since 2010, and have now bought a Solo Neo, with a few more features but a less compact form. Although notionally 25w+25 w /8ohms output, it seems no less powerful than the Neo, driving Spendor S3/5 R speakers (not included). FM and DAB reception is very good, (I am 6 miles from the BBC Rowridge transmitter), and I still prefer FM for BBC R3 broadcasts.I have never tried AM. CD output is fine, though occasionally it rejects a disc but will play when reinserted. There is a USB input but needs to have the source correctly formatted. This replaced a Quad 34/306/FM4/CD66 setup and my only regret is that the price of the Quad stuff has risen a lot since I sold it.

Arcam Solo (with fault) Bought in this condition (see photos) with CD not working at all. Had a repair/clean attempt by a professional electrician. He managed to get the CD player to play occasionally (see photos) but sold as faulty. CD takes a long time to initialise and will not always recognising a CD. When it does, sounds wonderful. I used it as an amp and DAB player (both fine) with a 1TB iPod Classic, so CD wasn’t an issue. Comes with power cable. NO remote. Collection welcomed. Cash on collection preferred. Up for sale is an Arcam Solo Neo Music System/Network/Internet Streamer. The unit is fully operational and comes with the original remote control, user manual, WiFi aerial, FM/DAB T aerials, RS232 cable and power lead. Cosmetically it is in a good condition. There are some light surfaces scratches on the top casing. The faceplate is unmarked and the control buttons all work correctly. The display is bright and there are no dead/missing digits. I do not have the original box but it will be very well packed in a new double walled box for a safe transit. If you have any questions please get in touch.
