Build quality and sound is top notch featurin 5 ¼” woofer and 1” tweeter. Grills are in tact no broken pegs etc. I never use with grills so theyre in good shape. ** These work well, only selling as I have a new pair of speakers with Beryllium tweeters, so I do not have a use for these currently. In terms of perceived functionality, I will note that the super tweeters did make a positive difference to me, but it is more of a cherry on top, not a very large change it sound signature. The best way to describe it is that certain twinkling effects seemed to form a wider soundstage, and overall treble performance seemed more prominent. Manufacturer notes that one should not use these standalone. If you do to test, you can faintly hear some high frequency beats / sounds that align with the music being played, but it should be noted that these only play higher frequencies, and should be used with a pair of traditional speakers to provide a boost of sorts to treble. Single owner, these are in very good cosmetic shape. Please ask for any other pictures / questions. I do have original box and foam, so I can pack these and ship them out. Please note that these are very similar to the current option priced new for $650.00 on the aperion site. These are incredibly similar, but are simply the original 2019-2020 flagship ( Mark 1) model. Not aware of any flaws but they are pre-owned speakers so small wear & tear is inevitable. -Ships in original boxes & padding.-All accessories are included, both spike and hardwood feet, foam port plugs, grills, jumper cables. These speakers are incredible. Over the last 3 years they beat out Revel F206s, Tekton Enzo XLs, Revel F36s and others in my room. They produce a very full & satisfying bass response, rich & layered mid-range, smooth but refined treble. These are NOT bright & analytical style speakers if that is your thing. If you like playing rock & metal these are very satisfying & will not hurt your ear or have any harshness. After my 3 years of ownership I finally beat them with a $9500 retail pair of speakers, hence time to sell. The per dollar performance is extremely high here. If you need amp pairing recommendations I tried several with these. Responded very well to the Cambridge CXA81 on the budget side & Bryston 4B3 on the expensive side.
