AIWA AF-5080 Stereo Turntable Record Player Vintage Tuner Cassette Music System. Tuner string has been replaced so radio is fully functional, found the FM reception to be excellent even without an aerial Turntable has a new belt and cartridge/stylus. Haven’t checked speed but doesn’t seem too bad although the cartridge alignment and tracking force could do with a tweak. Auto return works perfectly but the mechanism that lowers the tone arm is a bit sticky, should free up with use though. I’ve replaced the cassette deck belts but it still doesn’t work so I’m guessing the motor needs freeing up. The pause lever is broken Both speaker channels work although one sometimes needs a minute to warm up The vinyl wrap was ruined so it’s been removed and the plywood case painted although I’ll confess not particularly well, looks ok but could do with a bit of tidying up. Perspex lid is crack free. Come with a pair of kenwood floor standers and some speaker cable with the correct DIN plugs. Has a print out of the service manual Weighs a ton so collection only

The AIWA AP 2500 is a great turntable. Manufactured in 1977, the golden age of turntable design. Make no mistake Aiwa were a good Hi-Fi company back in the day and the AP-2500 is proof of that. It runs very silently and is built like a tank weighing in at an impressive 10.5KG thats 23Lbs! It has a well made tonearm designed by Micro Seiki. The arm is fairly light weight and would suit many high to medium compliance cartridges. Ive used it with a Shure V15 mk III with original stylus and the AT540ml to really good effect. The AP2500 also uses the same excellent direct drive motor as in the Micro Seiki DD40/DD7 and the KENWOOD KD 500/550 turntables. Being a FG servo controlled direct drive, the specs are very nice compared to other well respected turntables from the time: Wow and flutter WRMS: under 0,03 % and S/N ratio DIN- B: 75 DB. The platter including the original rubber mat weigh an impressive 1.75KG, precision made and turns on a dime. The heavy plinth is a composite of stone & mineral fibre designed for its anti-resonance properties. It works well as this machine it is a clear sounding & musical turntable. The tonearm lifter can be easily height adjusted & the 2 part tonearm weight can be precisely set in different configurations depending on cartridge. Even the feet are height adjustable! The auto stop & lift is another excellent feature and means you can relax knowing your precious stylus and vinyl are not being worn out when the record ends. Condition: This particular unit is in excellent condition. The plinth is superb with no noticeable marks or scratches, the metal faceplate has slight age related marks, still great considering its age (see pics). All buttons & lights function perfectly. Speed is steady at both 33 & 45. The tonearm is in near perfect condition with no play and it performs perfectly. The original headshell has minor age related marks (see pics) and is fitted with a used but good Audio Technica AT110e cartridge which sounds as good as I have ever heard it - this turntable really makes it sing. The lid is in great shape, it has minor polishing swirls, nothing major. It has been cleaned and polished prior to listing, there are no cracks and hinges are perfect. I replaced the old plastic RCAs with new high quality gold plated RCA connectors & the original 45 adapter is also included. This turntable sounded wonderful through my Yaqin amp and Kef R300 speakers. Its very smooth, detailed and the soundstage is wide, the At110e sounded great and this deck will take cartridges of much higher quality. It really is a top notch, audiophile quality turntable

AIWA AP-D50K Automatic Turntable/Record Player Sliding Draw Type Vintage Japan. A rare find that needs fixing to get it back to its original glory. Im not sure exactly what is wrong with it - it powers on but the Turntable doesnt spin at all. It has the unusual front sliding draw feature so has an eject button - this however doesnt work automatically - you can pull it out manually and it sits on the pulley wheels but no movement on its own. There is also no cartridge head or Catridge/ stylus. Cosmetically pretty good - few marks on the lid but no cracks and the hinges are fine. A rare find.

For sale is this great Aiwa LX-50 Direct Drive Automatic Linear Tracking Turntable. For its age I would class this deck as being in a good (for its age, probably very good), used condition with some marks, scuffs, scratches and wear. Please check out all the pictures as these make up a large part of the description and show the condition well. Really is a great sounding deck and plays nice and quietly. When the arm returns to the rest (automatically, after playing the record) it does make a little noise when moving, but probably no more than you would expect. Also, when the arm is on the rest, it seems a little off-centre, so you have to load a record from the left, at an angle to avoid the stylus, but it works fine (when you know the knack, its very easy) but the arm could probably use a slight adjustment. Iv included close up pics showing this. Have a Google for full details and spec. Comes as pictured with attached power cable, earth and RCA leads. The power cable has a female connector (as was originally powered from the back of another unit) but I will include a power cable to allow this to be connected to the mains. Really not wanting to ship this so it for collection only, I am in Lingwood near Norwich. Here we have a AIWA AF-5080 Stereo Turntable Record Player Vintage Tuner Cassette Music System. The turntable turns as it should, the stylus looms to be in a mint condition but is untested. The cassette player looks to be in a good working condition too but is untested. Overall the item is in a very good condition considering the age. Unfortunately one of the Knobs is bent but does still turn (could be a super easy fix for the right person) Its incredibly heavy hence the postage. The item will require a clean as its been in storage many years. Its being sold as Spares but Im quite confident it should work. Theres a power cable & another cable Im not too sure off.
