Systemdek IIX Turntable with ADC ALT-1 arm, Pickering XV15 625E Cartridge as fitted from new, purchased by me from new in the early 90s. Glass platter and belt included (but probably need to get a new belt due to age). Not used for about 15 years but stored in a dry cupboard, just plugged it in and all seems to work fine. Probably needs a bit of a minor service/oil/needle to get the best sound out of it again. In excellent overall condition apart from the lid which has some minor scratches commensurate with age but does have a damaged patch where the plastic has melted a bit when I tried to remove some scratching. Looks worse in the pictures than in real life. Collection only from York.

The speaker system sounds easy and well balanced without any upper-bass emphasis on male voices that mars the sound of so many speakers. The speakers have a stable stereo image regardless of ones position in relation to the front of the speakers. The ADC sub-woofer should not be mistaken for a powered sub-woofer. It does not produce any low frequency effects (LFE). It produces usable bass down to 50Hz, and it has a rated frequency response of 45Hz-20kHz plus or minus 3 decibels . The system is rated for 20 to 150 watts at a nominal impedance of 4 to 6 ohms. These speakers do not have any connectivity other than wired speaker cables. The speaker wires must be run from the the amplifier to the sub-woofer, and from the sub-woofer to each satellite speaker.
